I am an Oakland-based writer and editor.

I have 10 years of publishing experience, most recently as senior editor at Ten Speed Press, where i edited 12 James Beard and IACP cookbook award winners.

As a cowriter, I collaborate with authors and artists—chefs, wine and beverage professionals, and creative thinkers in every industry—to bring their stories to the page. I consult on all aspects of publication, and can help you find a literary agent, negotiate a book deal, and navigate the book-making process.

As an editor, I can help with your proposal, manuscript, or any piece of writing you think needs a bit of polishing. I also create market analyses to help you pitch your story to commercial publishers.
